Peamount is an independent voluntary organization providing health and social care to the community in conjunction with the HSE. The services provided include Rehabilitation for the older person and those with respiratory disabilities, Continuing Care Services are also provided for the older person, adults with neurological disabilities and individuals with intellectual disabilities. A Community Diagnostic Service is also available. Peamount seeks to provide an environment which encourages and develops an improved quality of life for all of its clients characterized by independence, self determination and dignity.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (BASIC GRADE)
1 WHOLE-TIME EQUIVALENT
1 YEAR FIXED TERM SPECIFIED PURPOSE POSITION
(35 HOURS PER WEEK)
The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following
essential criteria:

Possess a Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies or
equivalent
●
Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard
of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
●
A flexible approach to carrying out the duties of the post
It is desirable that the candidates have:
●
Previous Hospital Pharmacy Experience
● Knowledge of common Microsoft IT programs and Helix Health dispensing
software
Remuneration for the position advertised will be in accordance with the
Department of Health and Children salary scale commensurate with
relevant qualifications and experience.
