The Education Centre – Peamount Healthcare

Welcome to the Education Centre here at Peamount Healthcare we are committed to providing high quality, accessible education to all our stakeholders. We are committed to strengthening our workforce by providing the opportunity for staff to participate in study.
Education, learning, and development is integral to sustaining and preparing our workforce for now and the future, this is achieved by continuing to engage and collaborate with our stakeholders in the identification, planning and delivering of education that meets the evolving service needs.
We strive to meet the demands of this rapidly changing healthcare environment by embracing education, learning and practice development which enhances the workforce capability and capacity to respond to new and emerging trends.
The Education Centre has established links with our university partners: Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin and Maynooth these links have established pathways for students but additionally allowed for high quality research to be undertaken to benefit the health of the people living in our service and nationally. In addition the centre provides academic programmes accredited by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and other professional bodies as required.
