Peamount Healthcare is an independent voluntary organization providing health and social care to the community in conjunction with the HSE. The services provided include rehabilitation for the older person and those with respiratory disabilities, continuing care services are also provided for the older person, adults with neurological disabilities and individuals with intellectual disabilities. A community diagnostic service is also available. RQ807 - Grade IV Accounts Assistant

Peamount Healthcare are currently seeking a Grade IV Accounts Assistant on a Permanent Full-time Basis.
The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:
Essential :
  • Approximately 5 years’ experience working as part of an accounts payable team
  • Strong IT skills – experience with Agresso Accounting system a strong advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong Excel skill Project experience an advantage
Desirable :
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Proven track record and at least five years’ experience of carrying out a similar role
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and multitask. Work well within the accounts team.
  • Proactive in problem resolution. Good time management.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess enthusiastic attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative while strictly adhering to set rules and procedures
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better
