Peamount Healthcare is an independent voluntary organisation that operates in partnership with the HSE Ch07 and the Dublin Midlands Hospital Group to provide a range of high-quality Rehabilitation, Residential and Community Services. We help people return home after a serious illness, we provide safe and homely residential care for those who need it, and we support people to live as independently as possible in the community.
Peamount seeks to provide an environment which encourages and develops an improved quality of life for all its clients/residents characterised by independence, self-determination and dignity.

Peamount Healthcare were delighted to welcome Deputy Emer Higgins & Cllr O’ Hara on a recent visit to Peamount who met with staff, residents and day service users.
We are delighted that the Peamount stories that were created last year to highlight the extraordinary ways in which people have been able to keep person-centredness alive during COVID times have now been published by the HSE.

With the decline in the incidence of TB in later years, more accommodation became available for other services. In 1963, at the request of the Department of Health, a residential unit for people with an intellectual disability was opened. Over time as the needs of the community changed, Peamount developed a wider range of healthcare services.
