The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:
Essential:

  • Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a management position. A background in healthcare would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of environmental/waste management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and awareness/ sensitivity towards patients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Desirable:

  • Degree or equivalent in mechanical, building services or electrical engineering.

Peamount Healthcare is currently seeking a CNM2 / Person in Charge on a Permanent Full-Time
basis.

The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:
Essential:

  • Each candidate and every person holding the office must be registered in the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) and/ or RNID.
  • 5 Years post registration experience, 3 of which must be within the area of disability.
  • A post registration management qualification in Health or related field (This requirement can be satisfied by a standalone programme or a competed module. The module may form part
    of a larger programme of study or be included in the award).
  • Evidence of consistent updating of clinical skills and knowledge.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in the area of Neurological Disability.
  • Competent IT skills – Word, Excel. Power Point and e-mail.
  • Demonstrate Coaching & Development skills within clinical practice.

Social Care Worker – Team Lead

Peamount Healthcare is currently seeking a Social Care Worker – Team Lead on a Permanent Full-
Time basis.

The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:
Essential:

  • A Bachelor or MA/MSc in any of the following fields: Social Care OR Applied Social Studies OR Applied Social Studies in Social Care OR Social Care Practice OR a MA or MSc: in any of the above; Social Work
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a Social Care setting.
  • Have knowledge of HIQA standards for Disability and the regulations underpinning the standards.
  • Evidence of consistent updating of skills and knowledge.
  • Completion of a recognised Management Programme or its equivalent.
  • Previous experience of leading teams.
  • Full Clean Driver’s license.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of working closely with families and members of the Multi Disciplinary Team.
  • Have proven organisational, interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Demonstrable Coaching & Development skills within clinical practice.
